Getting Technical HelpIf you need help solving a computer problem, consider attending the SIG meeting that deals most closely with the problem area. For general help, consider attending the How-To SIG, the Helping Hands SIG, or the Novice SIG. You can even bring your computer with you to the How-To SIG (and perhaps even the others), but you should consult the SIG leader well in advance of the meeting to confirm that there will be someone on hand to help you. If need help sooner and can't wait for the next SIG meeting, you can contact one of our volunteers listed under the Member Assistance heading. |

Member Assistance This service is available only to LVPCUG members. Not a Member? Learn how to sign up or email our membership chairperson with questions. To take advantage of Member Assistance, click on the topic below which most closely matches your problem area. Or if a phone number is shown, you may call, leaving a message if necessary. Remember to include your phone number and/or email address and best time to contact you.
Remember that these volunteers receive no compensation for their services, so be considerate and don't demand more of them than they can give. Become a Volunteer Yourself!Note that most of our volunteers have disappeared
or withdrawn their services. In this economy it's tough to give
away services when you're unemployed or facing foreclosure. If you
have time and expertise in any area, please consider lending a hand by
becoming a volunteer yourself. We can never have too
many volunteers! |
